　　5月14日，瑞典阿特拉斯·科普柯工业压缩机业务研发制造中国总部暨压缩机技术无锡园区开业活动在无锡高新区举行。该项目总投资30亿元，建成后将成为集团工业压缩机业务领域在比利时总部以外的最大制造和研发基地之一，为无锡高新区加快构建全国一流的智能装备产业集群注入新的强大动力。阿特拉斯·科普柯是无锡高新区合作最早、效益最好、贡献最大的龙头外企之一，自1994年在锡设立生产基地以来，不断拓展业务领域、推进技术更新，已累计在锡投资近80亿元。

　　Swedish industrial giant Atlas Copco inaugurated its Compressor Technique Wuxi Campus in WND on May 14. With 3 billion yuan ($416.29 million) in investment, the site will become one of the company's largest global R&D and manufacturing bases outside Belgium, boosting WND's drive to build a world-class smart equipment cluster. A partner since 1994, the company has invested nearly 8 billion yuan in WND, making it one of the earliest, most productive, and most impactful foreign firms in the area.

　　近日，无锡村田电子有限公司创业30周年暨第三工厂开业活动在无锡高新区举行。村田制作所是一家全球领先的电子元器件制造商，是最早落户无锡的外资企业之一。扎根无锡高新区30年来，无锡村田在发展技术的同时，为无锡地区的环境建设、教育文化发展注入了企业力量。

　　无锡村田电子第三工厂旨在进一步完善生产体制，确保持续稳定地提供高质量的产品和服务，以满足市场和客户的需求。第三工厂建成后，无锡村田电子整个土地面积超28万平方米。

　　Wuxi Murata Electronics recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and the opening of its third plant in WND. As one of the first foreign-invested enterprises in Wuxi, Murata has contributed to local tech, education, culture & sustainability.

　　With the new plant, the Wuxi site's total area now exceeds 280,000 m², further enhancing its capacity to deliver high-quality products and services.

　　近日，工业和信息化部公示首批重点培育中试平台初步名单，无锡高新区无锡生物原料及其功能食品中试平台、江苏集成电路先进封装测试与系统集成中试平台两家入选，总数占全市比重40%。

　　Two pilot-scale platforms from WND were included in the first list of key pilot-scale platforms recently released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. One of the platforms focuses on bio-based materials and functional foods, and the other on advanced IC packaging and system integration,  accounting for 40% of Wuxi’s total.

　　聚焦交通疏堵保畅、违法查处、事故快处，新吴交警在吴都路菱湖大道、长江北路新光路口、机场高浪路高架互通处布设3处“空中机场”，覆盖区域达80平方公里，配合35架摩载无人机，组建“智鹰”交警无人机战队，打造全时空响应、主动式制空的空地一体“无人机+”现代警务新模式，推动交通本质安全水平和精细化治理能力不断提升。

　　WND traffic police have set up three aerial hubs spanning 80 square kilometers at major intersections, supported by a fleet of 35 drones. Aimed at easing congestion, enforcing traffic rules, and accelerating accident response, the initiative enhances traffic safety and smart governance capabilities.

　　近日，香山路（珠江路～湘江路）大修工程规划设计方案出炉。该路段北临即将投用的旺庄实验小学（红蕾校区）及红蕾佳苑二期，南邻已交付的红蕾佳苑一期，承载着教育配套与民生出行的双重使命。建成后将构筑“家校安全通道”，保障约2000余名师生及家长的通学安全；打通珠江路与湘江路的“最后378米”，有效释放长江路、珠江路等主干道的交通压力；进行香山路系统性提质升级，整体提升红蕾佳苑等周边社区的生活品质。

　　The renovation plan for Xiangshan Road (from Zhujiang Road to Xiangjiang Road) has been unveiled. The project serves both the upcoming Wangzhuang Experimental Primary School and nearby residential areas. It will provide a safe school route for over 2,000 students, parents, and staff, while easing traffic on major roads like Changjiang Road and Zhujiang Road — enhancing the quality of life for nearby communities.
