WND’s IC industry surges toward world-class development

　　The Phase II project of Huahong Wuxi Integrated Circuit R&D and Manufacturing Base commenced in WND on June 30.

　　The integrated circuit (IC) industry is one of the most competitive and dynamic "flagship industries" in the district. This area is home to nearly 80% of Wuxi's integrated circuit enterprises, accounting for 70% of the total output. In 2022, the IC industry in WND reached a scale of 135.2 billion yuan ($18.66 billion), second only to Shanghai's Zhangjiang area, making the area one of the few integrated circuit industry clusters in the country to break the 100-billion-yuan mark in terms of scale.

　　6月30日，华虹无锡集成电路研发和制造基地二期项目在无锡高新区开工。在无锡高新区，集成电路是最具核心竞争力和持续爆发力的“王牌产业”之一。这里集中了无锡市接近80%的集成电路企业和70%的产出。2022年高新区集成电路产业规模达到1352亿元，仅次于上海张江，成为全国为数不多的规模突破千亿级的集成电路产业集聚区。

03、无锡药品进口口岸提速增效

Speed and efficiency boost at Wuxi airport for pharmaceutical imports

　　A cargo plane from Atlas Air, successfully arrived at Sunan Shuofang International Airport in WND on July 4. The plane carried 8.2 tons of semi-finished “Andatang” (Forxiga Dapagliflozin) pharmaceuticals imported by AstraZeneca from the United States. The shipment reached Wuxi in just 4 hours, with all cargo handling and procedures completed efficiently. This successful and efficient operation marks another milestone for imported drugs in Wuxi.

　　7月4日，美国阿特拉斯航空公司的全货机从芝加哥飞抵无锡苏南硕放国际机场，运载了8.2吨由阿斯利康制药有限公司从美国进口的“安达唐”（达格列净片）半成品。这批药品顺利到达无锡，并在4小时内完成了货物操作和手续办理。这意味着无锡的进口药品“一站式”“零延时”服务实现了提速和增效。

Hongshan Tourism Resort Promotion Event held in Shanghai

　　The "Wuyue Jiangnan, Authentic Hongshan" Wuxi Hongshan Tourism Resort (Shanghai) Promotion Event was held at the North Bund in Shanghai on July 5. The event exposed the cultural and tourism resources of Hongshan in WND to Shanghai and the entire Yangtze River Delta market.
