01、高新区今年使用外资再结硕果

WND achieves fruitful result in use of foreign capital this year

　　With Wuxi’s business charter flight to Europe departed on Dec 9, the Wuxi investment promotion team started another journey to seek business opportunities abroad. 

　　WND has achieved fruitful results in the use of foreign capital this year. Statistics reveal that the use of foreign capital in the first 10 months exceeded $1.2 billion, accounting for one-third of the city. The district's annual use of foreign capital is expected to exceed $1.3 billion, continuing to lead all development zones, counties, and urban areas in Jiangsu.

　　12月9日，随着无锡赴欧洲商务包机的启程，无锡招商小分队再次出动，赴境外觅商机。作为外资高地的高新区今年使用外资再结硕果，数据显示，前10个月全区实际使用外资超过12亿美元，占全市三分之一。高新区全年实际使用外资预计可破13亿美元，继续走在全省各开发区、县市区前列。

02、伯渎河文化中心项目开工

Bodu River Cultural Center project construction underway

　　Construction of the Bodu River Cultural Center project recently started. With the design theme of "city sharing, modern simplicity, cultural heritage, and green ecology", the project aims to build the first clear-water concrete building with regional landmarks in Wuxi. 

　　Once completed, a contemporary panoramic and garden cultural center integrating elements of urban architecture, landscape and indoor facilities will be in place, creating a new cultural landmark in the WND and contributing to the district’s cultural and sports development.

　　备受期待的伯渎河文化中心项目开工啦！伯渎河文化中心项目以“城市共享、现代简约、传承文脉、绿色生态”为设计主题，旨在打造无锡市第一个具有区域标志性的清水砼建筑。项目建成后，这座集城市、建筑、景观、室内四维一体的当代全景式、园林化文化中心将为新吴区再添一处文化新地标，为新吴区文化体育事业注入新的活力。

03、“鸟界国宝”做客大溪港湿地公园

Oriental white stork spotted in WND’s Daxigang Wetland Park

　　The oriental white stork (ciconia boyciana), a species that enjoys national first-class protected status and is known as the "National Treasure of the Bird", was spotted in the inner lake of WND’s Daxigang Wetland Park by the park’s public monitoring team on Dec 5. 

　　Daxigang Wetland Park established a "Public Bird Monitoring Team" on Oct 30. So far, 92 species of wild birds have been spotted, including the Chinese merganser (mergus squamatus), Baer's pochard (aythya baeri), short-eared owl (asio flammeus) and other key protected wild animals. Come appreciate the park’s natural beauty this winter!

　　12月5日，大溪港湿地公众鸟类监测团队观察拍摄到了有“鸟界国宝”之称的国家Ⅰ级保护鸟类——东方白鹳在大溪港湿地内湖越冬休憩的镜头。

　　10月30日，大溪港湿地公园成立了“公众鸟类监测团队”，截至目前已记录到92种野生鸟类，成果喜人，其中包括中华秋沙鸭、青头潜鸭、短耳鸮等重点保护野生动物。这个冬天，一起来大溪港湿地公园观赏水鸟栖息的生动图景吧！

04、日联科技斩获国际双奖

Unicomp wins international honors

　　Recently, ACT International announced the winners of the 16th VA Vision Awards, and WND’s Unicomp Technology won two VA Vision Awards. 

　　Unicomp Technology mainly focuses on the research of precision X-ray technology and the R&D and production of X-ray intelligent detection equipment. It leads the domestic X-ray industry and is the first company in China to integrate the "cloud computing" technology of IoT into the X-ray intelligent detection system. Its online intelligent detection equipment achieves a rapid detection speed of three meters per second, the fastest in the world.

　　近日，ACT International公布第十六届VA远见奖获奖名单，高新区企业日联科技斩获VA远见奖双重奖项。日联科技主要从事精密X射线技术研究和X射线智能检测装备研发生产，为国内X射线行业的领航者，也是国内首家集物联网“云计算”技术于X射线智能检测系统的集成商，在线智能检测设备实现3米/秒的快速检测，全球第一。
