Decoding Wuxi National Hi-tech District

　　WND, one of the National High-Tech Industrial Development Zones in China, was established 30 years ago. It has carried forward the spirit of openness, innovation, pragmatism, and striving for three decades, and has become an important economic growth pole, a window for opening up, a scientific and technological innovation base, and an engine for transformation and development in Wuxi.

02、高新区位列“中国工业百强区”第九

WND ranks ninth among China’s Top 100 Industrial Zones 

　　The list of "China’s Top 100 Industrial Zones in 2022" was released by the China Academy of Information and Communication at the China County Industrial Economic Development Forum on Nov 25. WND ranked ninth on the list.

　　Since the beginning of this year, the industrial economy of WND has grown steadily. The total output value of industries above designated size in the district reached 503.78 billion yuan ($70.32 billion) from January to October, contributing 26.8 percent to the city's growth. Its intelligent reform and digital transformation continue to lead the city, its private economy has achieved outstanding results, and its innovation ability has been continuously improved.

　　11月25日，中国县域工业经济发展论坛上，中国信息通信研究院发布了“2022年中国工业百强区”名单，无锡高新区（新吴区）位列第九。

　　今年以来，高新区工业经济稳健增长，1-10月，全区完成规上工业总产值5037.8亿元，对全市的增长贡献率达26.8%。同时，智能改革与数字转型领跑全市，民营经济成效突出，创新能力持续提升。
