01、华润微电子迪思高端掩模项目奠基仪式举行

Groundbreaking ceremony for CR Micro’s DIS high-end mask project held in WND

　　A groundbreaking ceremony for China Resources Microelectronics's DIS high-end mask project was held in WND on Nov 22. Wuxi DIS Microelectronics Co Ltd is a key enterprise under China Resources Microelectronics, focusing on photomask manufacturing. It is an influential photomask company with an independent brand in China.

　　With an investment of about 1.3 billion yuan ($182 million), the project will build a 40-nanometer advanced photomask production line to help companies further improve their mask manufacturing capabilities and improve both their production capacity and technical level. Meanwhile, it will fill the gap in the domestic high-end mask foundry field and inject new momentum into Wuxi's move to build a leading integrated circuit industry.

　　11月22日，华润微电子迪思高端掩模项目奠基仪式在高新区举行。无锡迪思微电子有限公司是华润微电子旗下的重点企业，长期聚焦光掩模制造领域，是国内具有影响力的自主品牌独立光掩模公司。

　　此次奠基的迪思高端掩模项目，投资约13亿元，将建设40纳米先进光掩模产线，助力企业进一步提高掩模制程能力，实现产能和技术水平的双提升，同时还将填补国内高端掩模代工领域的空白，为无锡加快打造集成电路地标产业注入新的动能。

02、全国首单集成电路布图设计知识产权保险落地无锡高新区

China's first IP insurance for IC layout design implemented in WND

　　Wuxi Jingyuan Microelectronics Co Ltd in WND successfully insured a policy for integrated circuit layout design at Wuxi PICC Property Insurance on Nov 23, which means the country's first intellectual property insurance for IC layout design has been implemented in WND. In the event the design is infringed, the cumulative compensation limit of the insurance will be as high as one million yuan ($139,608.25). 

　　Wuxi Jingyuan Microelectronics Co Ltd is a WND’s key back-up enterprise for listing. Its main business focuses on the R&D, design and sales of integrated circuits.

　　11月23日，无锡市晶源微电子股份有限公司在无锡人保财险成功投保了一份针对企业集成电路布图设计的保单，这也意味着全国首单集成电路布图设计知识产权保险落地无锡高新区，若发生集成电路布图设计被侵权事件，保险的累计赔偿限额高达100万元。

　　无锡市晶源微电子股份有限公司是高新区重点上市后备企业，其主营业务专注于集成电路的研发、设计和销售三方面。

03、郑银泰：无锡高新区是我们的“老朋友”

Chung Eun Tae: SK Hynix’s decade of development in WND

　　Chung Eun Tae from South Korea is currently the president of SK Hynix Semiconductor (China) Co Ltd. In 2004, SK Hynix signed an investment agreement with Wuxi to invest and set up a factory in WND. After that, Zheng came to WND from South Korea and started working here as a key member of the Chinese factory preparatory team. He made great contributions to the stable operation and capital expansion of SK Hynix in Wuxi over the next decade.

　　After over 10 years of development, SK Hynix has emerged as the largest project invested by South Korea's SK Group in China. It is also the foreign-invested enterprise with the largest single investment, the highest technical level, and the fastest development speed in Jiangsu.

　　来自韩国的郑银泰是现任SK海力士半导体（中国）有限公司总裁。2004年，SK海力士与无锡市签订投资协议，决定在无锡高新区投资设立工厂。当年，郑银泰从韩国来到无锡高新区，作为中国工厂筹备组主要成员开始在这里工作。此后的十多年里，他为SK海力士在无锡稳定运营及增资扩产做出了重要贡献。

　　SK海力士，这位与无锡高新区亲密合作的“老朋友”，深耕无锡十余载，现已发展成为韩国SK集团在中国投资最大的项目，也是江苏省单体投资规模最大、技术水平最高、发展速度最快的外商投资企业。

04、无锡首次发现卷羽鹈鹕

Dalmation pelicans spotted in Wuxi for the first time

　　Three Dalmation pelicans (Pelecanus crispus), a species that enjoys national first-class protected status, were recently spotted at WND’s Daxigang Wetland Park by bird watcher Su Tao. This is the first time the species has been seen in the wild in Wuxi. As it is used to indicate the health of an area’s wetland waterfowl population, its appearance at the park shows the high quality of the local ecological environment.

　　September to November is the best time to observe migratory birds, and Daxigang Wetland Park attracts flocks of bird watchers every year during this period. Pay a visit this weekend to appreciate the park’s natural beauty.

　　近日，鸟类监测员、观鸟爱好者苏涛在大溪港湿地公园内发现3只国家一级重点保护野生动物——卷羽鹈鹕，这是无锡首次在野外记录到该鸟类的踪迹。作为湿地水鸟的指示物种，卷羽鹈鹕出现在大溪港湿地公园，是对这里生态环境的充分认可。

　　每年的9月至11月是观察迁徙鸟类的最佳时机，此时的大溪港湿地公园也成为了无数观鸟爱好者的选择地。何不择一日，来大溪港感受独属于这里的生态之美吧！

Meili Ancient Town fetes 2nd anniversary

　　Meili Ancient Town celebrated the second anniversary of its opening from Nov 18 to Nov 20. Various activities were organized and gorgeous scenes played out under a star-studded sky by the Bodu River, making visitors feel the prosperity and charm of this ancient town in WND.
