01、阿斯利康多个在锡投资合作项目亮相进博会

AstraZeneca-invested projects in Wuxi shine at CIIE

　　An event presenting AstraZeneca’s achievements in Jiangsu was held on Nov 5 at the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. Several cooperation projects were signed into effect, including AstraZeneca Wuxi supply base Lokelma new production line investment and Nexium global production integration project, as well as the export supply project of AstraZeneca Wuxi Biologics neutralizing antibody stock solution. 

　　During the event, a signing ceremony for enterprises looking to set up operations at the Wuxi International Life Science Innovation Park was held. AstraZeneca also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guolian Life. At this year’s CIIE, AstraZeneca's main booth covers an area of 1,000 square meters, one of the largest booths in the medical equipment and healthcare exhibition area. 

　　11月5日，第五届中国国际进口博览会召开期间，阿斯利康江苏成果发布活动在现场举行。阿斯利康无锡供应基地利倍卓新产线投资及耐信全球生产整合项目、阿斯利康药明生物中和抗体原液出口供应项目等多个合作项目签约发布。

　　活动现场还举行了无锡国际生命科学创新园入园企业签约仪式，阿斯利康还与国联人寿签署战略合作协议。在本届进博会上，阿斯利康主展台面积达1000平方米，是医疗器械及医疗保健展区面积最大的展台之一。

02、日联科技科创板成功过会

Unicomp to be listed  on STAR Market

　　The IPO application of WND’s Wuxi Unicomp Technology Co Ltd was approved by the Shanghai Stock Exchange Listing Committee on Nov 3, setting a new record in the number of Wuxi enterprises which have gone public and making Unicomp the 10th enterprise in WND to be listed on the STAR Market. 

　　Unicomp is a technologically-leading manufacturer of industrial X-ray intelligent detection equipment and has grown into a domestic industry leader in recent years.

　　11月3日，高新区企业无锡日联科技股份有限公司首发申请获上海证券交易所上市委员会通过，并创造了无锡企业上市新的历史，日联科技也成为高新区第10家获得上交所科创板过会的企业。无锡日联科技是技术领先的工业X射线智能检测装备制造商，近年来已成长为国内行业龙头企业。

03、王燕清：从草根创业到全球第一

Wang Yanqing: creating a globally-leading company from scratch

　　Wang Yanqing, the founder and chairman of Lead Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd in WND, was born into an ordinary rural family in Wuxi. He used to be an equipment assistant engineer at a state-owned factory and resigned to start his own company in 1999. In order to further expand his company, he chose WND to start large-scale production in 2002. After 20 years of hard work, he turned a small factory with only three employees into a listed company with a market value of over 100 billion yuan ($13.8 billion).

　　This previously unknown private enterprise has now grown into a global leader in new energy equipment. By 2022, Lead had become an initially internationalized global enterprise with 11 overseas subsidiaries, employees from 16 countries, and a team of nearly 1,000 long-term overseas employees.

　　先导的创始人、董事长，王燕清出身于无锡的一个普通农家，年轻时在国营厂担任设备助理工程师，1999年选择辞职，开始创业。2002年，为了进一步扩大企业规模，王燕清来到无锡高新区，开始了规模化生产。在这块热土上，用20年的努力，他把一个三人的小厂办成了一家市值超千亿元的上市公司。

　　这家原先默默无闻的民营企业，已经成长为全球新能源装备的龙头企业。到2022年，先导已然成为拥有11家海外分子公司、16个国家雇员、近1000名长期海外员工团队的初步具备国际化的全球化企业。

04、高新区的花园入选省级高品质绿色空间实践项目名单

WND's garden wins provincial honor for high-quality green space practice

　　The list of high-quality green space practice projects (the first batch) favored by the public in Jiangsu was recently released by the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Jiangsu Province, which included WND’s Jinghui Rain Garden. 

　　The garden is located in Xin'an neighborhood, with a total of 31,000 square meters of land and pavement, and is a case study in sponge city development. The garden was completed at the end of 2017 and is open to the public free of charge. It integrates various functions such as ecological conservation, recreation, leisure and fitness. Carbon neural landscape design and urban furniture are also fully applied in its construction planning.

　　近日，省住房和城乡建设厅公布了江苏省公众喜爱的高品质绿色空间实践项目名单（第一批），高新区的净慧雨水花园成功入选。

　　净慧雨水花园位于新安街道，共有3.1万平方米的土地及路面同时纳入海绵城市研究。该花园于2017年底建设完毕并向公众免费开放，将生态涵养、游憩休闲、康体健身等多种功能融于一体。在其建设规划中，还充分应用了碳中和的景观设计和城市家具。

05、运动新吴，绘就全民健身活力画卷

National fitness brings vitality to WND

　　The award ceremony of the ninth WND Sports National Fitness Campaign and a Square Dancing Competition were held at Decheng Square in Meicun neighborhood on Nov 9. About 200 people in six teams from six neighborhoods participated in the square dancing competition. 

　　In 2022, WND has carried out 18 sporting events, with 361 matches, nearly 4,000 participants in 209 teams, and a total of nearly 20,000 people participating in refereeing and cheerleading, showcasing the vitality of the area.

　　11月9日，2022年“乐动高新”第九届全民健身系列活动颁奖仪式暨广场舞大赛在梅村街道德城广场举行。全区6个街道6支队伍约200余人次参加了广场舞比赛。

　　2022年，新吴区开展了18项丰富多彩的赛事，拥有了37个激情满满的比赛日，361场精彩绝伦的比赛，209支队伍近4000人参赛，总共近20000人参与到裁判、啦啦队等工作，展示了健康新吴、欢乐新吴的蓬勃新姿。
