WND strives for the forefront of a more modern Wuxi

　　The 14th Party Congress of Wuxi began at the local Great Hall of the People on Sept 25. WND has been enhancing efforts in regional industrial agglomeration, sustainable development, technological innovation, and security and efficiency improvements in 2021. In the future, WND will continue making progress in environmental development, increase its contributions to the city’s development and boost its rankings at the national level, striving to be at the forefront of the modernization of Wuxi.

　　9月25日，中国共产党无锡市第十四次代表大会在市人民大会堂开幕。今年以来，无锡高新区（新吴区）围绕产业集聚做“加法”，围绕节能减负做“减法”，围绕动力提升做“乘法”，围绕安全高效做“除法”。未来新吴将全力实现发展能级新提升，发展贡献新提升，发展环境新提升，争当无锡现代化建设走在前列先导引领区。

02、新吴区捧回全国荣誉！

WND wins national honor

　　Good news! The WND Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau won the title of 2017-2020 National Advanced Unit of Mass Sports for launching smart public fitness programs, helping sport-related businesses flourish by holding large-scale sporting events, and increasing the number of sports facilities over the past few years.

　　好消息！新吴区文化体育和旅游局获得2017-2020年度全国群众体育先进单位称号。获得这个国家级的荣誉离不开新吴区多年来在体育事业上的努力——品牌赛事接连举行，运动赛场捷报频传，科技元素为智慧体育加持，全民健身活动多姿多彩。

03、新吴区入选江苏知识产权强省建设示范区创建名单

WND listed as intellectual property demonstration area

　　WND was classified as one of the 12 Jiangsu Intellectual Property Construction Demonstration Counties (Districts) in 2021. In recent years, WND has been constantly implementing intellectual property strategy. It has established the first intellectual property industrial alliance and the first patent operating agency in the province, and is home to one of the first 10 national pilot units for intellectual property cluster management. 

　　近日，新吴区被确定为2021年度江苏知识产权强省建设示范县（市、区）创建单位。近年来新吴区坚持深入实施知识产权战略，建立了省内首个知识产权行业联盟，成立了省内首个专利运营机构，荣列国家首批十佳知识产权集群管理试点单位之一。

04、飞凤工厂在高新区投产

Feifeng Plant launched in WND

　　The launch ceremony for the second campus (Feifeng Plant) of Donaldson Wuxi was held in WND on Sept 28. 

　　Feifeng Plant’s new PowerCore air filtration line features Donaldson's most advanced technology and can reduce dust emissions for a wide range of high-end heavy-duty trucks, off-road equipment and farm machinery. The successful operation of the production line will greatly increase the production capacity of the Donaldson’s branch in Wuxi, and better meet market demand for high-end filters in China and the Asia-Pacific region.

　　9月28日上午，唐纳森无锡第二生产基地（飞凤工厂）投产仪式在无锡高新区举行。

　　该基地引入的新型PowerCore空滤产线拥有唐纳森在全球发动机过滤市场上最先进的技术，可以减少粉尘排放，适用于各类高端重型卡车、非道路原厂设备以及农用机械设备等。唐纳森无锡第二生产基地新一代PowerCore空气滤芯生产线顺利投产，将大幅度提升唐纳森无锡公司产能，更好地满足中国及亚太区市场的高端过滤器需求。

05、至讯创新集成电路总部基地落户高新区

ИNIM integrated circuit headquarters to be set up in WND

　　ИNIM signed an agreement with WND on Sept 29 to set up its integrated circuit headquarters in the district. 

　　With a total investment of 500 million yuan ($77.6 million), the ИNIM facility will have the world’s leading storage product design capability and internationally-advanced chip design technologies. It will focus on R&D for high-end memory chips, and strive to go public on the Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market) within five years.

　　9月29日下午，无锡高新区与至讯创新举行签约仪式，至讯创新集成电路项目总部基地落户高新区。至讯创新无锡有限公司总投资5个亿，核心团队拥有全球领先的存储产品设计能力，在芯片设计等方面均处于国际先进水平。公司未来将专注于高端存储芯片的研发，力争5年内在科创板上市。
