01、高新区前三季度进出口总值超过全市“半壁江山”

WND’s import and export value accounts for more than half of the city’s total

　　In the first three quarters of 2022, the total import and export value of WND topped $44.9 billion, accounting for 53 percent of the city's total foreign trade value. Meanwhile, its exports increased in quantity and quality, with the export volume reaching $26.25 billion, an increase of 22.3 percent, of which over 60 percent were high-tech products.

　　2022年前三季度，高新区进出口总值达449亿美元，占全市外贸总值的53%，超过“半壁江山”。值得一提的是，出口呈现量质齐升的良好态势，出口额达262.5亿美元，增长22.3%，其中超六成为高新技术产品。

02、沈健生：扎根家乡三十年，锻造出国家级“小巨人”企业

Shen Jiansheng: Root in WND to establish a national "Little Giant" enterprise

　　Shen Jiansheng, the chairman and general manager of WND’s Yinbang Clad Material Co Ltd, was born and raised in Wuxi. In 1992, Shen became the deputy director of Yinbang, formerly an aluminum foil factory. The entire enterprise covered an area of only 1.33 hectares, with a small factory scale and backward business philosophy. Over the past 30 years, he has led Yinbang to overcome difficulties and develop with the step of WND, successfully reversing the course of the fate of the enterprise.

　　After 30 years, Yinbang has grown into a national specialized and sophisticated "Little Giant" enterprise and a national model enterprise for cultivating industrial brands. Shen reminisced, "In addition to our efforts, the rapid development of the enterprise is inseparable from the superior business environment, efficient government services, and continuous improvement of transportation in WND."

　　银邦金属复合材料股份有限公司董事长、总经理沈健生是土生土长的无锡人。1992年，沈健生来到前身还是铝箔厂的银邦担任副厂长。当时整个厂区占地只有20亩，工厂规模小，经营理念也比较落后。30年来，他带领着银邦风雨兼程，与无锡高新区共成长、齐奋进，成功改变了这家企业的命运。

　　30年后，银邦在无锡高新区这片创业沃土上，已成长为国家专精特新“小巨人”企业、全国工业品牌培育示范企业。追忆那段蓬勃发展的岁月，沈健生感受颇深：“企业之所以取得快速的发展，除了自身的努力，还离不开无锡高新区优越的营商环境、高效的政务服务和不断完善的区域交通。”

03、“人类命运共同体”国际漫画插画大展2022颁奖典礼举行

Awarding ceremony of 2022 International Cartoon and Illustration Exhibition held in WND

　　The award ceremony of the 2022 International Cartoon and Illustration Exhibition on a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind, sponsored by China Daily and the municipal government of Wuxi and undertaken by the Management Committee of WND, was held in Wuxi on Nov 16.

　　With the theme of “Low-carbon Life,” the exhibition received more than 3,800 cartoons and illustrations from 50 countries and regions. A collection of cartoons and images in “Discovering Wuxi” was organized, accepting nearly 600 submissions from home and abroad, demonstrating Wuxi’s achievements in building a zero-carbon city, green development, culture reservation, and innovative development.

　　11月16日，由中国日报社和无锡市人民政府共同主办、无锡高新区管委会承办的“人类命运共同体”国际漫画插画大展2022颁奖典礼在锡举行。

　　本届展览以“低碳生活”为主题，共收到来自50个国家和地区的3800余幅漫画、插画作品。大展同期组织了以“发现无锡”为主题的漫画与插画征集活动，共收到海内外来稿近600幅，全面展现了无锡在“零碳城市”“绿水青山”“千年文脉”“创新高地”等方面的发展成就。

04、朗新科技产业园开园仪式在高新区举行

Opening ceremony of Longshine Technology Industrial Park held in WND

　　The opening ceremony of Longshine Technology Industrial Park (CPU Space) was held in WND on Nov 16. As the headquarters of Longshine, the park covers an area of 6.67 hectares, with a total investment of about 950 million yuan ($133.17 million). It’s the first batch of science and technology industrial parks in Jiangsu with the label of "zero carbon". At the ceremony, Wuxi Longshine Public Welfare Foundation was also unveiled.

　　Longshine focuses on the "digitalization of energy and internet of energy" and maintains a national leading position in digital energy, digital life, digital city, and industrial internet, with services extending to 12,000 enterprises and institutions and 390 million users.

　　11月16日，朗新科技产业园（CPU空间）开园仪式在高新区举行。作为朗新科技的总部基地，产业园占地面积约100亩，总投资约9.5亿元，是江苏首批以“零碳”为标签的科技产业园。仪式上，揭牌了无锡市朗新公益基金会。

　　朗新科技聚焦“能源数字化与能源互联网”，在数字能源、数字生活、数字城市、产业互联网等领域保持全国领先地位，服务覆盖1.2万家企业和机构、3.9亿大众生活用户。

05、“寻味”硕放初冬

Winter delicacies in Shuofang neighborhood

　　The early winter is in full swing in WND’s Shuofang neighborhood. It’s the best time for residents to munch on the steaming sugar-roasted chestnuts, the sweet and sour hawthorn balls, and tender rice cakes, which brings warmness and joy on cold winter days.

　　初冬时节的硕放，寒风瑟瑟。在忙碌的清晨或是傍晚，来一份热气腾腾的糖炒栗子、饱满酸甜的山楂球或是香糯细腻的糕团，一份舌尖上的美食，温暖着这个初冬。
